1. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

With a full six season run but always limited to speciality channels, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of those shows that you’ve likely have heard of but have never taken the time to watch. Following the adventures of a group of dysfunctional bar owners, lead by none other than Danny Devito, the show sports a hilarious script offset by even more hilarious ad-libbing from the cast, painting the City of Brotherly Love in a comical light while poking fun at everything from racism to sexuality.

2. Trailer Park Boys

Despite being filmed exclusively in a quiet corner of the Canadian east coast, Trailer Park Boys instantly found a cult following around the world for its ridiculous humor and raw format. Filmed in mockumentary style, the show follows the down home adventures of Ricky, Julian and Bubbles as they attempt to make money via various criminal endeavors (most notably growing and selling marijuana), all the while fighting off the infamous Mr. Lahey and his on-again, off-again lover Randy.

3. Arrested Development

Highly popular during its short three season run, Arrested Development is one of those shows that you may have missed if you weren’t paying attention to your TV listings during its time on the air. The plot is based around the unending legal problems of the once wealthy and prominent Bluth family as they work their way from under constant criminality and dysfunction.
