Mac Users Find Diablo III Limited by Language
Likely the most anticipated RPG game of the year, Diablo III is weaving its way closer and closer to its May 15th release date but anxious gamers around the world are finding out today that, if you own a Mac, this game may not be for you.
In a show of the dominance of Windows among PC gaming enthusiasts, Diablo maker Blizzard has announced that language localizations would be plentiful for the Microsoft OS while Mac users will able to play the game only if they speak and read English, German or French. To compound the problem, the note from Blizzard makes no promises as to future localizations, leaving the masses to assume that, quite simply, none will be forthcoming.
Assuming you’re an RPG fan who has been looking forward to Diablo III but owns only a Mac and speaks none of the three available languages available in the game, you now have three options: crack the books and learn a new language in the next 60 days, find a different game to focus your attention on or break down and snag a Windows-based gaming rig.
